June Grindley MSc Autism

Image of June Grindley June Grindley is a Director and Autism Practitioner. She began working with people on the Autistic Spectrum in 1998 and her own son has a diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome. With a background in Listening, Training and Business, she added to her skills by successfully completing an MSc in Autism. This blend of professional & personal experience and training, provides June with a unique insight into supporting those on the spectrum, their families and professionals. Her interests include music and arts and crafts.

Karen Albrow

Image of Karen Albrow Karen has a child on the Autistic Spectrum and works for West Dunbartonshire’s Carer’s Centre. She has worked with groups of Carer’s and been a volunteer on a carer’s helpline. She has completed a Partners in Policymaking Course and spoken to Scottish Government policymakers regarding the course and the effect it had on her family. She has experience in the social network arena on Twitter and Facebook and has set up a page for “Differently Abled” people on Facebook. She has links with the local Autism community and a wealth of experience relating to her son.

Alistair Cooper

Creatovators CIC | Syndrome | Autistic | Autism | Treatment | Courses | People | LegoAlastair Cooper is a voluntary Director of Creatovators. He has the personal experience of having high-functioning autism and has delivered IT & soft skills training to other adults on the spectrum. These combined experiences provide him with a deep insight as to how specialist support and services can affect an autistic person throughout their development. He offers the first-person understanding of autism that only an autistic person can have. Alastair’s interests include computing, politics & current affairs, science & technology and watching tennis. He is also studying mathematics via distance learning.

Alan Rutherford

Alan RutherfordA business professional with a wide range of key senior management roles and sales and marketing skills together with a track record of achievement in competitive markets. Personal strengths include leadership qualities, strategic thinking and implementation skills, determination, attention to detail and a desire to make a real contribution to bottom line performance both operationally and financially.
