LEGO®-based Therapy is an effective programme for teaching social skills to people on the autistic spectrum. June Grindley, the trainer, gives an outline of the technique created by Daniel B. LeGoff and provides training on how to set up sessions for yourself from her own experience.
The course is delivered in bite-sized videos to enable you to learn at a time and pace suited to you. It includes short lectures, exercises for you to practise, time out for you to consider how to adapt things for your setting and downloadable materials to get you started. On completion of the course you will be provided with a certificate.
This course is aimed at those looking to work with children of primary school age or above.
